Granatowe Góry 5th Jerzy Pilch Word Festival in Wisła, May 30 - June 1, 2025
5:00 PM Thursday 29.05. EXHIBITION OPENING „GRANATOWE GÓRY” / OCHOROWICZÓWKA MUSEUM OF MAGICAL REALISM and here are a few words from the organizers:
We believe in the power of the word. In literature, art, media. In the stories we tell each other and when no one is listening. In the chaos of modernity and information overload, responsibility for what we write, how we speak, and how we describe the world is perhaps even more important than before. Jerzy Pilch was a master of words, an ironic and tender observer of reality. The mission of the Granatowe Góry Word Festival is to preserve the best of Pilch’s work. And continually ask anew the questions he sought answers to.
